OWL Paris, an online international African fashion store opens a pop-up store in Paris, France from the 3rd of June. And OWL Paris is further launching their brand concept: “Africa So Chic”. The store also plans to give a special “Press Presentation” of their forthcoming summer ’14 collection. So to all Francophone people, be there!
OWL is the intersection between the passion for Africa and passion for fashion. OWL proposes to the women of any horizon: trendy, qualitative and comfortable clothes, inspired by Africa. OWL’s purpose is to bring the best of African fashion to the world while it gives a colored, funky interbreeding platform in a positive spirit.
The OWL project was born in March 2013, of a thirst of fashion and an envy for Africa. The 2 founders of OWL decided to propose a trendy fast fashion with an ” Afro Urban smart ” look, with with the slogan ” Africa so Chic! “.
The founder, Julienne worked 9 years as Buyer/Product manager for an international fast fashion brand , she is in charge of design, sourcing and production. Her companion and partner is a graduate of MBA at the international l’INSEAD, he is in charge of the Finances & Strategy department.
OWL’s will is to propose a mix of basics and trendy ready-to-wear clothing while answering three essential criteria that are: quality, fashion and price. So, OWL adapts itself to the needs of urban women who want to feel comfortable and unique in their clothing. For that purpose, OWL gladly mixes the classic with African influences by reinterpreting them in their own way.
