It has been a couple of months since I posted anything. I must admit, my life has been hectic. I had to find some ‘me’ time to plan where I want to take Abina Online to. It has been 5 years since Abina started as just a blog. And I believe it is time to reach for the stars. I went to Ghana for some time and it help me vision what ‘reaching for the stars’ looks and sounds like. As usual, I made contacts, went to fashion, music and networking events and even did a photoshoot with the talented Ghana based photographer, Cliq Kofi. I thought Abina Online needed more of my face on the frontline. Nice work, right? Here is the official promotional banner of Abina Online.
Abina in 2016
I have yet to take Abina Online to a place where it will cover more of events taking place in the Diaspora. Also, there are interesting stories about returnees. Yes, those that make the move to travel back home to Africa and actually run a successful business. I believe that we are living in a time where Africans from the continent and the Diaspora are refreshing the world’s view big time and most importantly, celebrating each other. I have yet to shine more light on that.
