CEO dancers drop a good booty shaking African dance on Britain’s Got Talent’s judges and Nail it! I was minding my own business surfing through Facebook when I discovered a video from three fabulous chocolate women who auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent. Chai! Some proper African dance moves right there. And to discover, these ladies are already movers and shakers in the Afrobeats scenes. This is something you must see.
Known for blending new and old skool African dance with street dance, vogue (the dance form) and dancehall, CEO dancers (originally from Nigeria and South Africa) are no newbies to the limelight. Having worked with Iyanya, 2Face, Dr. Sid, Lola Rae, D’Banj and Tiwa Savage, the trio consisting of Ezinne, Soliat and Nqobilé are gradually capturing the world, I believe. Come to think of it, I have spotted these ladies in Lola Rae’s Watch my Tin Go video and Oliver Twist from D’Banj. I believe that these ladies are more than just a dance group. People tend to underestimate dancers, but dancers ad great value to music as a whole. The ladies do even more.
The CEO dancers from London started their audition with Beyonce’s Single Ladies and flipped to Iyanya’s Kukere with African dance moves that look phenomenal. Their energy is great, they have this positive vibe to them and I am a fan already. Ladies and gents, let’s join together and root for the CEO dancers, cause these pretty ladies are doing their thing. Even the beautiful Alesha called these girls: “A breath of fresh air”. Alesha started bouncing when Oliver Twist came up. And that Vogue move, CHAI. I LOVE this.
